Policies & Procedures

COVID-19

At Beauty Designed Spa we are so happy to be open and able to provide a safe environment for you to enjoy your favorite services. We are 100% committed to your safety and health. Our focus is providing exceptional services that are in alignment with current health standards and protocols. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with our COVID-19 policies and procedures:

  • Arrive at least five minutes early for your appointment. You will be asked to sit in your vehicle and wait. When it is time for your appointment, you will receive a text to come in. Please be sure to be paying close attention to your phone, so you see the notification in time. Only one person is allowed in at a time. If you come up before you are notified, you will be asked to wait outside.

  • Make sure to schedule an appointment prior to coming for your service. There are no walk-ins accepted. There are no guests allowed. Please do not bring any children or guests with you. If you do so, you will be asked to reschedule and will be charged 50% of your scheduled service appointment fee.

  • Arrive at your appointment wearing an appropriate mask that covers your mouth and nose. If you are not wearing a mask one can be provided to you for $2.

  • Each client's temperature will be checked at the door and each client will be required to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands.

  • Your temperature will be checked upon arrival. In Accordance with CDC guidelines, if your temperature is over 100.4, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment, and you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service appointment fee.

  • Limit personal belongings to a minimum. A purse and jacket are acceptable.

  • We prefer contactless methods of payments such as Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, or Zelle. We can accept credit cards, please note a 3.5% fee will be added to all credit card payments.

  • If you have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last week, please refrain from coming in until you are cleared and have been tested negative for COVID-19. It is recommended that you quarantine for 14 days if you tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Please do not come in if you are feeling under the weather or feel that you are coming down with something or recovering from an illness. Make sure to reschedule your appointment for a date and time when you are fully recovered. 

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Beauty Designed we will be doing our part to make sure all surfaces are hundred percent clean and sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectants. We use disposable supplies on our clients and toss them out after each use on a client. Only one client is allowed in at a time of service. To ensure proper social distancing, only one client is allowed in at the time of service. We sanitize the chairs, door handles, and our bathroom after each client’s visit.

SALON POLICIES 

NO WALK INS, ONLY APPOINTMENTS 

If it is your first time scheduling an appointment you will be asked to leave a deposit, the amount will vary based on the appointment selected. The deposit can be paid via Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Zelle. 

The deposit will go towards your scheduled appointment. All appointments will require you to leave a credit card on file. 

CANCELLATIONS
 
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid your credit card on file being charged 50% of the scheduled service fee. 

Multiple cancellations made within less than 24 hours will result in card on file being charged the entire amount of the scheduled appointment. If you’ve had multiple cancellations made within less than 24 hours in the past, you will not be able to book another appointment without paying for it upfront in full. 

As long as you cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment time, your deposit can go towards a new service or it can be refunded.


LATE POLICY

Please arrive for your appointment 5 to 10 minutes early. You are expected to text us when you arrive for your appointment, and are required to wait in your vehicle until we text you to come in. If you are running late, please let us know. All clients are given a 5 minute grace period for all wax appointments and a 10 minute grace period for all other appointments. If you’re not here within the  5-10 minute grace period, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment, and will forfeit your deposit. (You will be required to submit another deposit for your rescheduled appointment). If you have not submitted the deposit, the credit card you have on file will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment fee.


NOSHOW

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without a notice, you will be charged the total fee for the entire missed appointment. Multiple no-shows will result in you not being able to book without paying in full for your appointments upfront. 

 

GUEST 
You will not be able to bring guests in with you for your appointment. No children are allowed unless they are receiving a service.

PLEASE NOTE FOR LASH EXTENSION APPOINTMENTS 

Please book for a removal first if you are already wearing lash extensions. If you book for a new set and have lash extensions on at the time of service, you will be required to pay for a removal and have to reschedule for another appointment as it takes extra time on top of the new set to remove old lashes. You will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment fee. 

Please arrive with a fresh face, meaning no make up and clean lashes. If you arrive with dirty lashes you will be charged an additional $20 for cleaning.

FILLS

Please assess how much filling is truly needed and book for the right service. For instance, If you have less than 30% of your lashes left, you will need a NEW SET, it is NOT a fill. If you realize that you need a new set or the next fill option and you have booked for a shorter fill, please give me enough notice to make changes to the schedule if it is possible. You will be asked to reschedule. I will no longer be trying to accommodate new sets in the time for a fill. 

Please Note: Please be sure to schedule your fill within a three and a half week period.  If you have had a fill more than three weeks ago, you can no longer get a fill and you will have to get a new set.

Lite fills are only suited for those who have natural or flirty looks or a week out from your last fill. 

 


FOREIGN FILLS
If you have been to another lash artist, you will have to book for a consultation first to assess if your lashes are suitable for a fill. After your consultation, if your lashes are assessed to be suitable, then you can book for a classic foreign fill or a volume foreign fill only. . 

PLEASE NOTE FOR SUGARING APPOINTMENTS 

Please allow three weeks to properly grow hair out for your sugar wax service. If your hair is not long enough and I cannot sugar you, you will be asked to reschedule and you will be charged 50% of the appointment scheduled. 

 

Please come back for your touchup within six weeks. If you do not come back for your touchup within six weeks from your original first session, you will have to pay for your touch ups. There are no exceptions.
