  • Do you take on refills from other Salons?
I have a 80, 20 rule, when it comes to this. A complimentary consultaion before your appointment is mandatory. 100 % of the time i would like to see the lashes first to give you a defenite yes or no. I recommend to start with a fresh set, that way there is no inteference with glues and previous cycles. However if the lashes look in great condition and with knowledge of your lash history, i will do the refill from another salon. For this an Ultra refill (2hr) is mandatory. If a new set is required, due to bad lash condition, a removal and new set will be required. You will have the choice to book a new set from there. or you always can let the old lashes fall off and then come in for a new set.
  • What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo. Unlike a regular tattoo, pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. This technique uses feather stroke technique to create hair-like strokes that mimic your real brow hairs. Together you and the artist design your perfect brows. There is no need for powders, gels and pencils to fill in your natural brows.
  • How long does microblading last?
Microblading last on average 1-2 years depending on your skin type and care. The Pigment is incredibly soft and fades slowly over this time, creating a natural fade out.
  • How long will my appointment take?
The process two hours on average. During your appointment I will consult with you the entire time ensuring we are on the same page. Much of the time is spent measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape. The actual procedure itself takes 30min to an hour.
  • Is it going to hurt?
This is not at all simular to getting a normal tattoo, as far as feeling of it applies. Being that it is a semi- permanent prcedure, the pigmnent is deposit right under the first layer of the skin. Since it does not go as deep, you do not experience nearly as much discomfort. In addition I will apply a topical numbing agent before we start your procedure to minimize discomfort. Following the numbing agent, I will apply a liquid anesthetic, throughout to keep you comfotable until the procedure is done. This is a very tolerable procedure for most however, this will also be determined by your own pain tolerance.
  • How many sessions will I need?
The procedure requires 2 sessions for most to ensure the best results. Your first session will implement your new shape, and filling in your brows. Your sescond session is just as important as your first session. Your second session is your touch-up, it is 6-8 weeks after the first session, In which I will perfect your shape, color if needed and really focus the pigment into any areas that possibly faded, or healed lighter than the rest. The second session is where you will see your brows truly transform into their best selves. Sometimes depending on your skin type (i.e. oily skin), health conditions, or improper aftercare... you may need additional session(s) to perfect your results. Please note your touch up is complimentary wihen you pay for your first session with me however, if you miss your touch-up appointment, you will forfeit your complimetary touch up and have to pay for one.

There is no down time for Microblading, however, the area may be red and swollen right after and we recommend that you do not plan any social activities afterwards. This is NOT a quick fix beauty treatment and you have to be prepared to endure all the healing stages of Microblading. Please note that your brows will appear darker and more intense than expected for the first few days (30-40% darker). They may also look thicker in shape. This is completely normal as the excess pigment is sitting on top of your skin. This will gradually fade during the healing process. They may fade so light, you may think the pigment didnt take, dont freak out, this is completely normal. It will typically take 7-14 days for the brows to peel/flake. (DO NOT PICK YOUR THE FLAKES.THIS IS THE PIGMENT) let them peel naturally. During this time is where they may appear very light underneath after they peel due to the tissue still healing from the inside out, even though the surface has healed. Your skin heals over the top of the strokes and will naturally exfoliate itself. The true colour will reveal itself once fully healed after the touch up. Again, this all depends your skin. High quality pigments and equipment are used to ensure the best results but do not guarantee how your skin will react to the procedure.
  • Will my brows look fake?

I will make sure before starting, you are comfortable with the shape we have created for you and that it is not complimetary of your face and bone structure and that your 100% happy with.

  • What is "COLD" Sugaring? "
Sugaring is a hair removal treatment using a combination of sugar water and lemon to remove unwanted body and facial hair, by pulling hair out direction from the root without pulling on the skin. It has been practiced for centuries throughout Northern Africa, Greece and the Middle East. Cold sugaring is exactly the same except the sugar heats up to your natural body tempertature making it completely comfortable and no chances of burning your skin or causing irritation.
  • What are the benefits of sugaring
It is by far one of the most gentle and ancient techniques that's a natural alternative to and one that lasts longer than traditional waxing. Unlike waxing it does not stick to skin but only to the hair. Waxing adheres to your skin and pulls your skin when you are removing the hair, sugar just binds to your hair and only pulls the hair." sugaring is suitable for removing fine hair all over the body It is great for individuals with sensitive skin and blonde peach fuzz as it's less likely to cause irritation. It is also great for indivisuals who have skin condtions such as eczema it is water soluable so you can clean residue from sugaring with water since all of the ingredients in the mix are natural. unwanted hair will diminish overtime will regular removal maintenance. Way less irritation and no chance of burning skin since the sugar heats up to your own body temperature which makes the temperature completely comfortable. Most on average say it hurts way less. Little to no hair bumps or ingrowns.
  • What do i need to know before i get sugaring?
To be a candidate for sugaring, your hair must be at least a quarter of an inch long so that the gel is able to bind to the hair and pull it out at the root. make sure the area you plan on removing hair is well exfoliated and not oily,
  • How often should i come for maintenace?
It is simular to waxing however, it is know on average to last longer than waxing becasue the hair does grow back slightly slower with sugaring. For facial areas 3-4 weeks is recommended for regular upkeep. for body areas 4-5 weeks is recommended on average for regular upkeep. However this may vary slightly everyone hair grows differently depending on growth phases, and the history of hair removal routine
  • What should i know after i get sugared?
You should avoid hot water, exfoliation, gym activity and the sauna for 48 hours. "Your skin will be sensitive. After that time period, you are in the clear to exfoliate to prevent in-growns hairs. It may take a few sugaring sessions before your hair is completely removed. However, a trained aesthetician will be able to tweeze or thread to target any stubborn hairs. You probably will never go back to waxing!
  • Am i a good candidate for sugaring?
As long as you are not on Acutane or Retin- A, or have a recent injury/ wound/ scar or severe acne you are cleared to come in a try sugaring! Although sugaring can prove slightly challenging on course and stubborn hair types it is suitable for all hair types.
  • Can i shave in between?
I highly recommend you do not shave your hair inbetween, shaving alters and confuses the hairs growth cycle and texture. Sugaring inforces the hair to come back in a slower, smoother, less course texture and dimishes the amount of hair over time with normal upkeep. As to where shaving reinforces the courseness, and density of hair and speed in which the hair grows back causing inconsintency with your results. Try your hardest to advoid shaving and letting the hair grow back as normal for your next sugar.
  • Are there any setbacks with sugaring?
Sugaring is amazing, however it isnt for everyone. we all have our preferences. Of course just like any tretment that removes unwanted hair from your body, it can hurt depending on your pain tolerance level, however sugaring is said to hurt way less then waxing. It is a aquired feeling, and if you are transitioning from shaving or waxing to sugaring it may take a few sugaring sessions to completely remove the hair.
  • What will my skin feel like after?
Amazing! your skin will fell super soft, as sugar is a natural exfoliant. You will love the results. The skin will have very little irritation, inflammatory, or redness after your treatment. If you are prone to ingrowns (hair bumps) you will see less of those, being that sugar entraps the hair, pulls the hair directions out from the root, without puling on the skin or breaking of the hair.
